The Fifth[edit]

Hello there i don't upload videos i just add the videos i like to my many playlist. Hello there i don't upload videos i just add the videos i like to my many playlist. Episode: S01 Special Airdate: Aug 10, 1990 Ren and Stimpy, on the streets starving, are captured by the dog catcher. They end up in the pound and become frightened when one of the dogs tells them of the 'big sleep'. This is a list of episodes of the animated series The Ren & Stimpy Show. The show premiered on Nickelodeon on August 11, 1991 directly following the premieres of Doug and Rugrats, and it ran for five seasons until December 16, 1995 with the finale 'A Scooter for Yaksmas'.

Hi, i'm a beginner in editing pages so although i created the table, i could not make loop links* to the episode titles in the fifth season table. so if someone could make it for me i would be glad.

  • the links that redirects to the 'episode list' page.

Episode pages[edit]

Someone has proposed all the episode articles for deletion. I would rather see them merged and redirected to this page, so am removing the prod templates. Catchpole (talk) 15:23, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know of your intentions. I'll open a AfD shortly. Cheers, ➪HiDrNick! 16:20, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Awesome now this page is full of self-referential links. --202.168.39.41 (talk) 00:23, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

what I really wanted on this site was a list of which episodes were spumco/kricfalusi .. this seems to be pretty important qualifying information 220.245.132.132 (talk) 08:35, 26 July 2009 (UTC)snaxalotl

Man's Best Friend[edit]

Why was 'Man's Best Freind' banned from airing on Nickelodeon? Perhaps a more informative explanation of why should be edited into the article. I myself don't even know why.--72.91.36.173 (talk) 02:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Even stranger is why, despite what this article says, and despite what the DVD cover itself says, no copies of that DVD collection in fact do have this episode on it. Does anyone know why? I have looked on dozens of boxes over a long period of time in diferent stores, and despite advertising the episode, it is not in fact present. BryanAJParry—Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.194.4.53 (talk) 11:27, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Amazon reviews indicate that the Region 1 release of the DVD is as-described on this page. However, further cuts were made to the UK release by the BBFC, and 'Man's Best Friend' does not appear. Neither do John K.'s commentaries, or the Hanging Song (the episode fades out after the 'Hang 'em!' line). Why they felt the need to do this is anyone's guess. --81.156.177.239 (talk) 14:20, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Ultimate Ren & Stimpy Collection[edit]

What evidence do we currently have that this collection is still being worked on? The latest information I've been able to find about it is at least 5 or 6 years old. Do we have any official announcement or acknowledgement that this product is on its way/has been cancelled/is delayed? PCLM (talk) 13:17, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

When you say 'ultimate' you mean it would include all the Nick shows plus the Adult Party shows, right? --76.115.67.114 (talk) 05:57, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Missing episode half?[edit]

Ren and Stimpy adopt an overgrown, seven-year-old convict named Kowalski. Stimpy is kind and understanding towards the needy 'youngster', but Ren has a bit more trouble adjusting to parenthood. (Note: This was originally to be a full 22 minute episode, but was cut down to 11.) What happened to the cut segment??? --76.115.67.114 (talk) 05:57, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Guest voice in Magical Golden Singing Cheeses?[edit]

Isn't that Jay Leno as the village idiot? If its not Leno, its Billy West imitating Leno (West does a VERY good Leno) --76.115.67.114 (talk) 04:22, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

Any unedited DVD issues yet?[edit]

The show is still very popular and a number of DVD issues have been created but has the whole series been issued unedited yet??? Its 2012, and some of the cut material in the shows is fairly tame compared to things show on, say, Family Guy on broadcast TV. --RThompson82 (talk) 05:12, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Numbering[edit]

Why has the episode numbering scheme been changed from the old a/b system to a straight count? ('Man's Best Friend' used to be 7 and now it's 13.) Danceswithzerglings (talk) 12:11, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

DVD release order or airdate order?[edit]

Right now there are two competing ways of ordering the episodes – DVD order and airdate order. Right now we have a mix of both, which is inconsistent. The episode count in the 'Series overview' table counts episodes by the DVDs, but that count is disrupted in airdate order. In addition we have a 'DVD order' section, which is totally unnecessary.

I believe we should structure the season lists in DVD order because it is simplest. While some airdates will be out of chronological order, that has been fine in other LOEs (see List of Arrested Development episodes, List of Futurama episodes, List of Batman: The Animated Series episodes, etc. It is the order most familiar to readers. -- Wikipedical (talk) 04:29, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Now we have both, like the Star Trek article. IsaacAA (talk) 17:16, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

The Ren & Stimpy air dates on IMDb et al[edit]

The Ren & Stimpy air dates on IMDb et al are sometimes subtly mistaken and sometimes plainly mistaken. A good source for the Ren & Stimpy air dates has been published and it is clearly the best-researched source available. IsaacAA (talk) 17:16, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Proper air dates[edit]

As discussed elsewhere, the air dates on this page are wrong for season 5, and very likely for season 4. A Scooter For Yaksmas aired on the 16 of December 1995, with all of season 5 airing before it but The Last Temptation, which later aired on MTV. This is certain as season 5, and specifically A Scooter For Yaksmas was mentioned as early as the 29th of April 1996, with Last Temptation of Ren being noted as the only unaired episode. ----IsaacAA (talk) 20:15, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

12th of January, 1996, 23rd of January, 1996, noting that Sammy and Me/Last Temptation of Ren were the only unaired season 5 Ren & Stimpy episodes. ----IsaacAA (talk) 20:35, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
BTW, whoever keeps vandalizing the article with wrong airdates, don't be an idiot. Sb2007 (talk) 04:46, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Keeping this here as a rather good primary source (not cite-able) for seasons 2 and 3. IsaacAA (talk) 13:10, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

Well, if Season 5's last episodes aired in 1996, does that officially give Season 5 a 1995-96 run? Just asking before I edit. 13:21, 30 June 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.70.162.250 (talk)

The original run ended in date so-and-so. Almost a year later, unaired episodes aired in a run on a different channel. That does not affect the original run. Bright☀ 09:51, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Revised Sick Little Monkeys[edit]

I don't have the revised edition of Sick Little Monkeys, can anoyone confirm the air dates have been changed, and possibly list them all? Bright☀ 12:31, 30 November 2017 (UTC)

Production codes[edit]

What's the source for the production codes? IsaacAA (talk) 17:23, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of season articles[edit]

The individual season articles (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) are being used to alter the air-dates against consensus. They add no content that cannot be added to this article, so they merely duplicate effort that is better spent on this article. BrightRoundCircle (talk) 19:36, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
