If you want to share a photo that doesn't fit here (eg. portrait format or with textual content that isn't just part of the design), try the Worship Project Images group, which is a lot less specific in its focus.
Meanwhile, if you are looking for a background image for your church projector, don't forget you can search the pool, including tags like 4:3 to get images in the right ratio.

Group Description

Thanks for your help in making this a place where other Christians can find background graphics to use to enhance their church's worship services.
Don't forget to tag your images as mentioned below — it helps searching and, most importantly, shows you have read and agreed to the following rules.
Here are the rules for the group:
Images uploaded to the group pool should be:
1. Free to use. Adding an image to the group pool gives permission for others to make unrestricted use of the image as a projected background in Christian worship settings. If you don't want to grant that, please share via the discussion area instead. (But please don't 'flood' the discussion pool with image posts, or you'll be 'moderated.' ;) )
2. An appropriate size and shape. Images should be available at least 1024px wide and in a landscape format. They should be tagged with the ratio of width to height (eg. 4:3, 16:9). It is expected that almost all images will be in one of those two ratios for easy use on common projection systems.
3. Adaptable. Images should be free from text (except where the typography is part of the design) and church or other ministry logos so that they can be used as a background in any Christian setting. Images with text will only be accepted to the pool if you also include a text-free version.
4. All your own work. Images should consist of your own photos and digital artwork. If using other elements (eg. third party brushes) they should be licensed in such a way that you share the results (ie. free for non-commercial use). Seek to understand and respect the copyright of others.
Other guidelines:
1. Focus. This group has a specific purpose. If you want to share devotional slides or cool pictures, there are other groups that would love to hear from you!
2. Tags. As well as tagging with the image ratio, it helps if you use other tags as well so that people can search through the pool. Here is a quick list of the type of keywords you can use as tags:
subject (eg 'clouds', 'cross', etc)
color (eg 'blue', 'fuschia', etc)
style (eg 'grungy', 'modern', 'clean', 'art', 'vector', etc)
3. Credit. Let people in your church know where you are getting your amazing backgrounds from - you might put a link at the bottom of each page or add a section into your church bulletin. Also, it wouldn't hurt to comment on and favourite the pictures you use, showing your appreciation and encouraging further contributions.
